Could we do IM sessions?
That would work better than the forum.

They do have some pretty good systems in place. Generally people just post there responses as they want to, and it usually works out pretty well.

Well, ok. If it's worked before, it should be fine, then. Plus, if it's just us for a while, then, at most, there'd be only a max of 3 to 4 posts in between someone talking and someone replying if the reply was really slow.

I'm good with it being on the forum, just make judicious use of your modify button to keep things neat and tidy.

No worries there. I always use the modify button, mainly due to spelling errors.

I'd actually support instant on the IM idea. In all the IM DnD's I've played they usually run a lot smoother than the forums, as everyone's interacting in real time, rather than off the times they're on the forums. You tend to miss a lot on Forum-based DnD's, as they go on while you're asleep/at work/at school.

I think he means that if a DnD game is on a forum the fact that it can get uncoordinated if fun and challenging to him.

In all my experience, it's never been "fun". Just hectic, and impossible to work with.

But for IM you have to coordinate all the people to be on at the same time.
